Sealed Bids for the Miami County Commissioners David L.
Brown Youth Center Mound System will be received by the
Miami County Commissioners at the Safety Building, 201
W. Main Street, Troy, Ohio, until Tuesday, May 29, 2007
at 9:30 a.m. at which time they will be publicly opened
and read.
In general, the Work consists of the installation of a
sanitary mound system.
A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for Friday, May
18, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the David L. Brown Youth
Center, 291 S. Children’s-Home Road, Troy, Ohio.
The Bidding Documents which include drawings and
specifications may be examined and obtained at the
office of Choice One Engineering Corporation, 440 E.
Hoewisher Road, Sidney, OH 45365. Cost for the Bidding
Documents is $50.00 and is non-refundable.
Bids must be signed and submitted on the separate
bidding forms included in the Bidding Documents, sealed
in the provided envelope, and shall be accompanied by
either a Bid Guaranty Bond in the amount of 100% of the
Bid amount or by a certified check, cashier’s check, or
letter of credit on a solvent bank in the amount of not
less than 10% of the amount of the Bid, subject to
conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The
successful BIDDER will be required to furnish a
satisfactory Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of
the Bid.
The Contractor shall be required to pay not less than
the minimum wage rates established by the Department of
Industrial Relations of the State of Ohio.
No BIDDER shall withdraw his Bid within 60 days after
the actual opening thereof.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids,
waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid
which is deemed by Owner to be most favorable to the
Owner.
