The 2007 Choice One Engineering Relay
for Life team was incredibly successful, raising $13,498.75 for the
American Cancer Society. This made Choice One Engineering's team the top
money-raiser in Shelby County and a Platinum Award winner!
Team member Becky Puthoff
organized numerous fundraisers over the past year to attain this top
honor, including a Poker Fun Run, Cutest Baby Contest, and the donation
of her $3,500 worth of earnings at auction from the Shelby County Fair
Baking Competition. Special thanks goes out to Becky and her team for
their hard work and dedication to this cause.
The Shelby County Relay for Life was
held August 3 and 4, 2007, at the Shelby County Fairgrounds and raised a
total of $232,242.10 for cancer research.
